Yesterday I installed a stats plugin on my blog. I’ve been using Google Analytics but I wanted something that was Wordpress specific so I could really keep track of what’s happening on my blog! One of the features is that it shows me the search terms people are typing into search engines that have resulted in them finding my site, and some of it has been pretty funny. My favourite was probably, “stripper take advantage of you when drunk,” or “bioshock 2 porn.” People Google some very odd things. It surprises me to find out I’m getting over 800 visits to my site per day. I definitely don’t receive anywhere near that amount of comments, so there must be a lot of lurkers. Sometimes I wonder just who is reading this blog…. hm.

Anyway I’m having a lovely Friday night. After work the boyfriend and I went out to our favourite local pub for a couple of beers and a chicken schnitzel, and now we’re chilling on the couch watching the football. Sometimes I go to write Aussie slang on here but I have to correct it, because I remember my international readers won’t really understand words like “schnitty” and “footy” hahaha.
